Grace's Baptism

The photo evidence is below--not quite in the order that I had intended it to be in.

Still I think it comes across that it was a beautiful day and a wonderful celebration of Grace's new life and all the people that are part of it.

We had friends and family from all around the country that were there with us. Fitz and Angie win for the longest trips--San Francisco and Seattle! And it meant a lot to all of us be surrounded with all that goodness.

We adapted the Murphy's new year's tradition of a wishing cake into wishing cupcakes--where we made wishes for Grace. Grace was fed her lunch by about 8 people.

And in general were merry in our celebration at the Old Stone House-- which is a little revolutionary war museum in a park in the neighborhood that happens to have a nice little party room.

At Long Last...

I am finally getting around to posting some of the Baptism photos that have been much requested and anticipated.

Here is the actual dunking (as Fr. Murphy aptly referred to it). We went with the imersion option. Why not get as much holiness on you as possible? I think she liked it. After she was out she was trying to climb back in.
